Red Card Sign talkSPORT Deal to Air Premier League Coverage in Singapore

UK based radio station talkSPORT has announced a new partnership today with Red Card Sports Radio for the new internet sports radio station to air talkSPORT’s coverage of England’s premier soccer competitions in Singapore.
Red Card Sports Radio which will be launched in August 2013 by premier sports marketing agency Red Card in Singapore. Fans will hear talkSPORT’s official Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup radio commentary for the next three seasons (2013/14 – 2015/16).
talkSPORT’s official match commentary live from the UK will be broadcast on Red Card Sports Radio in English, Mandarin and Malay as well as a weekly Barclays Premier League preview show in English.
The new internet radio station will be available on multiple platforms including desktops, tablets and smartphones. The Red Card Sports Radio app for iOS and Android phones will be available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
Aside from talkSPORT’s live commentary and preview shows, Red Card Sports Radio will also produce local sports programmes – a first in Singapore, aimed at giving Singaporeans a dedicated platform to engage popular regional presenters and express their opinions about football matters through call-ins and social media. These programmes would not only cover the international football scene but also local and regional competitions like the S-League and Malaysian Super League.

To celebrate the festivities of Singapore’s National Day and Hari Raya Puasa, Red Card Sports Radio will be launched on 11 August. Fans will be able to tune in to the curtain raiser for the Barclays Premier League 2013/14 season – the FA Community Shield match between Premier League champions Manchester United and FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic.
