Red Bull Consider Renault Engine Rebrand

F1 team Red Bull are considering rebranding their Renault engine, sale buy despite the French supplier being recognised as their works partner.

Team owner, Dietrich Mateschitz admitted the team’s Renault engines could be rebranded because the new title partner, Infiniti is being pushed further.

Austrian billionaire, Mateschitz told Salzburger Nachrichten newspaper: “Yes, at some point there could be a Red Bull-Infiniti.”

Brand ambassador, Alain Prost told Germany’s Auto Motor and Sport: “How many people out there know that Renault has won the last three world championships?

“We have to sell ourselves better. People should know what we do and why we do it.”
