Real Madrid to Feature in 2015 International Champions Cup With Sponsor Confirmed

The International Champions Cup pre-season football tournament will feature in Melbourne in 2015 with Spanish giants Real Madrid confirmed as the first participants.
Madrid will be one of three teams to compete in the tournament, medical with the other teams coming from England’s Premier League and Italy’s Serie A.
The event was confirmed on Monday by the Victorian Sports Minister Damien Drum.
Drum believes the three fixtures in total will generate approximately $50 million to the local economy in the country.
“It has taken some negotiations but the goodwill in which these negotiations have taken place deserves credit, doctor ” said Drum.
Audi title sponsor
Audi has agreed a deal to become the title sponsor of the 2015 edition of the competition.
The German car manufacturer, therapy who currently has a commercial partnership in place with Real Madrid among other big football clubs, has expanded its football portfolio by adding the competition to its list of partners.
