QNB Group Secure Qatar Football Association Sponsorship

QNB Group, medic the leading financial institution in Qatar and the MENA region, signed an agreement with the Qatar Football Association to sponsor the key championships for the next three years.

The agreement, singed by HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of Qatar Football Association and Qatar Stars League and Mr. Ali Shareef Al Emadi, the Chief Executive Officer of QNB Group entitles QNB to act as the strategic sponsor for the Qatar National football team and HH Emir Cup, HH Heir Apparent Cup, and the official sponsor of Sheikh Jassim Cup, and Qatar stars League as well as the exclusive sponsor of Qatar Stars Cup.

Mr. Ali Shareef Al Emadi, said that the sponsorship is part of the Group’s policy and commitment of the to support the country in all the local sports events and tournaments. QNB hopes to motivate the team to reach International levels, “We always strive to achieve Qatar’s ultimate goal through sports association”, he added.

He also said, that the achievements of the Football Association over the past years have attracted the attention of sports communities locally and internationally. This is the primary motivation for the bank to provide the support needed to achieve their global goals.

QNB is keen to strengthen its presence in all major events related to the Qatari football, by involving its staff in various football and sports activities.
