Qatar Airways Named Official Airline Partner of Professional Golf Tour of India

Qatar Airways have announced they will sponsor the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the official sanctioning body of professional golf in India.

As part of the agreement, Qatar Airways becomes the ‘Official Airline Partner’ of the PGTI for a term extending until the end of 2015.

The airline has consistently supported various top golfing tournaments and the association with Professional Golf Tour of India will help to increase the popularity of the game among Qatar Airways’ fans and passengers in India contributing towards the growth of Indian professional golf.

Qatar Airways’ Country Manager India, Henry Moses said: “We are extremely pleased to partner with PGTI as it represents a further extension of Qatar Airways’ commitment towards various sporting events. Through this partnership, we will definitely generate a lot of positive response from our Frequent Flyer members, premium cabin passengers and corporate customers as many of them share a passion for golf.
