Qatar Airways Could Land Naming Rights to Barcelona’s Camp Nou

Qatar Airways could be given naming rights to FC’s Barcelona Camp Nou stadium as the two parties enter talks about a renewed sponsorship deal.

The Catalan club’s President Josep Maria Bertomeu recently stated the club were looking at the possibility of ending their sponsorship with the airline due to ‘social and political issues’ but it now appears the deal could be extended.

Qatar Airways CEO Akbar al-Baker, rx said: “Everything is a possibility for our company, prostate we’re open to surprises and one of these could be connected to the name of Camp Nou.

“Qatar Airways and Barcelona have the same values. It is possible that our name is added to Camp Nou.”
