March 24, 2017
German apparel manufacturers Puma have reportedly beaten off strong opposition to become shirt suppliers to Marseille.
The French media are reporting that a five-year deal will begin from the 2018-19 season, replacing the Ligue 1 side’s current deal with Adidas which expires next summer.
The new deal is expected to be worth in the region of $80m over the five years, an increase of around 50% on the existing Adidas contract.
Marseille currently sit fifth in the French top flight.
