French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have announced a two-year sponsorship deal with electronics giant Panasonic.

Panasonic will install their LED televisions in the Parc des Princes stadium, health plus a host of events for fans to take part in through PSG’s social media outlets.

Tatsuro Miyata, assistant general manager of Panasonic France said: “This partnership is a great opportunity for both parties. Panasonic, present on the market in all 5 continents, is delighted to be a partner of this fantastic side that boasts players from all over the world, on a national, European and global stage. The international popularity of the club is a fabulous window for our brand.”

Jean-Claude Blanc, Paris Saint-Germain general manager added: “We are very happy to have signed this partnership with such an innovative and prestigious international brand that gives sport, and football in particular, all its nobility and emotion.

“Together at the Parc des Princes and everywhere around the world, we will share some amazing moments with our supporters.”

Panasonic launched the campaign by giving one fan a DMC-FZ72 camera during PSG’s convincing 4-0 win over Bastia on the weekend, a game where superstar signings Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edison Cavani scored spectacular goals.
