PSG Sign Base79 to Grow YouTube Audiences

Paris Saint-Germain has signed a deal with European video company Base79 to manage their video content on YouTube at a global and local level.

The deal will enable PSG to continue to grow their brand globally by claiming content, building audiences and driving viewing across YouTube, as well as enabling PSG to effectively monetise its online video content.

Base79 will also support PSG’s programming strategy to create and grow its original content and deliver a range of new videos to connect with PSG’s fans across the globe.

“We have extensive experience in supporting sports brands, from creating content to growing their audience.

“As YouTube is the most dominant online video platform, it is an essential tool for clubs and organising bodies in football to connect with and serve their audience online; giving the fans content they’ll enjoy and want to share via the YouTube platform.”

The addition of PSG follows Base79’s partnership with Aston Villa and further swells Base79’s roster of sport partners which includes; The Football Association, IMG Worldwide, the French Football Federation, the Premiership Rugby, the Women’s Tennis Association, The International Tennis Federation and others.
