PROBIZ Named 2013 World Club Challenge Title Sponsor

The Rugby Football League has announced that marketing company PROBIZ will be the title sponsor of the 2013 World Club Challenge. 

The PROBIZ World Cup Challenge will take place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on 22 February and will see Super League champions Leeds Rhinos take on NRL Grand Final winners Melbourne Storm.

PROBIZ already have an association with rugby league – PROBIZ were the title sponsor of the 2011 World Club Challenge and Feisal Nahaboo, the company’s founder, is the major shareholder of Featherstone Rovers.

RFL Commercial Director James Mercer said: “We are delighted that PROBIZ will be sponsoring the 2013 World Club Challenge and look forward to working with them on this event, which is established as one of the highlights on the Rugby League calendar.

“Leeds and Melbourne have been the most dominant and successful clubs in world Rugby League for much of the last decade and PROBIZ will benefit considerably from this association.

“Feisal Nahaboo has a strong affiliation with Rugby League and we are looking forward to working with PROBIZ at the 2013 World Club Challenge and beyond.”

PROBIZ founder Feisal Nahaboo said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for PROBIZ to be involved with one of the biggest matches in world sport and I am honoured and proud to be sponsoring this fixture for the second time in three years.
“The PROBIZ World Club Challenge will be a wonderful spectacle and a tough encounter between two world-class clubs.
