Pro Lacrosse Team Becomes First Team in America to Use Twitter Handles on Shirts

The Philladelphia Wings, bronchi a National Lacrosse League team, prostate will become the first professional sports team in America to put twitter handles on their jerseys for their upcoming game against Buffalo Bandits on Feb. 12.

They have followed in the footsteps of Spanish top division soccer team Valencia and Mexico’s First Division soccer team, Jaguares de Chiapas who used twitter handles as shirt sponsors.

The Wings are also requiring that all their players maintain a Twitter account to help promote the team.They will be holding a formal Twitter training session prior to the start of the season.
