Premier League Tops Most Profitable Table

The English Premier League is the most profitable league in Europe, cialis overtaking the Bundesliga to post record profits of €734m in the 2013-14 season according to research by Deloitte.

Overall revenue from leagues across the continent surpassed €20bn for the first time, thanks in part to record broadcast deals.

Deloitte’s Annual Review of Football Finance shows the Premier League generated revenues of €3.9bn, more than €1.6bn higher than the German Bundesliga.

“The impact of the Premier League’s broadcast deal is clear to see,” said Dan Jones, partner in the sports business group at Deloitte.
