Power8 Seal Naming Rights to RCD Espanyol’s Stadium

Leading gaming technology provider Power8 has secured naming rights to RCD Espanyol’s stadium.

The sponsorship begins during the 2014/15 season and will run until the 2020/21 season. 

As a result of this agreement, the Power8 brand will have a prominent presence in the white and blue stadium which will be officially renamed the Power8 Stadium.

The Power8 Stadium, inaugurated in 2009, won the award for the best sports facility in the world in 2010. This is a 4 star category stadium in accordance with the UEFA catalogue and is one of the most modern in Spain. The main events held at the stadium are RCD Espanyol matches. In addition to football games, it also holds more than 100 corporate events per year such as dinners, filming & movies, commercials, concerts, product launching and all sorts of corporate events.

RCD Espanyol, led by the club’s President, Joan Collet and Power8 have publicly shown their satisfaction with this agreement and are fully convinced that it will bring many mutual benefits as well as commercial brand development.
