PokerStars Get Naming Rights to Fourth Division German Team VfB Lübeck’s Stadium

PokerStars, drugs one of the world’s largest poker websites has acquired the naming rights to Stadion an der Löhmuhle, cheapest pills home to VfB Lübeck, therapy a fourth-division soccer team.

The multi-use, 18,000-capacity stadium is now known as PokerStars.de — Stadion an der Lohmühle. A statement issued by VfB Lübeck reports that the naming rights agreement runs through the completion of the 2012-13 season with an attached option for a three-year extension.

The football club is located within Schleswig-Holstein, a German state currently preparing to allow for the entry of internet gaming operators. In September, Schleswig-Holstein achieved notoriety as the first state to legalize online poker games. In March  2012, poker site operators will be permitted to apply for internet betting licenses. PokerStars has overwhelming supported Schleswig-Holstein’s move to legalize online gambling in Germany.

PokerStars has become the second gaming site operator to join with a German club recently, following Betfair’s sponsorship agreement with team Türkiyemspo, which is based in Berlin.
