PGA Tour Creates Social Media Hub

The PGA TOUR has created its own Social Hub which will allow fans, salve players and the media to see the latest trending topics on social media.

The new website constantly collects posts into one central location from leading social media sites, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube videos and Instagram photos and videos. Relevant keywords and hashtags drive the content that filters into the Social Hub and fans can Tweet directly from the Hub.

“While people post frequently about the PGA TOUR, they don’t always use the same hashtags or terminology,” explains Sloane Kelley, Executive Producer of PGA TOUR Digital. “This can make it tough for fans to easily find social posts from others that may be relevant. Bringing posts together in one place will facilitate sharing and easier online conversation. Plus, we want to let them know that we’re interested in their thoughts about our tournaments and players.”
