Paris Saint-Germain Open Office In New York To Drive More Business

May 22, 2018

French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain has opened an office in New York after Doha and Singapore with the aim to create business opportunities in the US.

PSG further aims to increase brand visibility, cultivate new partnerships and expand its global fanbase. The office will be managed by Jérôme de Chaunac, who is joining the club as Managing Director of the Americas.

Frédéric Longuépée, Deputy Managing Director in charge of business activities at Paris Saint-Germain, commented: “In 2011, our Chairman and CEO set everyone at the club the task of transforming Paris Saint-Germain into a top international sports brand. The club now embodies the values of elegance, excellence and respect that are associated with the city of Paris, whose name it so proudly bears. The brand has since become one of the fastest growing projects in the world, especially digitally. Opening offices in strategic territories is an important part of its development.”

“We have had a strong presence in the United States over the past three summers with our men’s team touring New York, Los Angeles and Miami as part of the International Champions Cup. We also have some of the top South American players in our team. Having a year-round presence in this market is now crucial and an obvious next step. We are thrilled to welcome Jérôme de Chaunac to lead the team there and are excited to create more opportunities to engage with our fanbase in this region.”
