Panasonic want to Extend Tokyo 2020 Sponsorship

Japanese telecommunications firm Panasonic want to extend their long-running Olympic sponsorship, apoplectic after Tokyo was named as the 2020 host city on Saturday.

Panasonic has sponsored the Games since 1987 by providing cameras at the event, pharmacy cheap but their agreement expires after the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The company’s CEO Kazuhiro Tsuga has said they are eager to extend that deal, especially now that the 2020 Games will be hosted in their country.

Tsuga said: “If we could expand that contract, we would be happy. Since it is in Tokyo, we have lots of chances.”

Tokyo was elected by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host the Games at their 125th Session in Buenos Aires, beating Istanbul and Madrid to the main prize.
