Panasonic Unveiled as Official Partner of Sochi Paralympic Winter Games

With the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games on the horizon, ampoule electronics giant Panasonic has become the Official Partner of the prestigious event in the category “Audio-visual equipment”.
Panasonic, an International Olympic Committee TOP sponsor, will supply audio and video equipment to the competition venues and the International Broadcasting Center of the Main Media Center in Sochi and will also serve this equipment.
Under the agreement Panasonic will supply items including LED large screen display systems, professional audio systems, flat-screen TVs, digital cameras and broadcasting equipment. Panasonic will also equip competition venues and the International Broadcasting Center with high-definition video equipment (Full HD).
President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee Dmitry Chernyshenko commented on the deal: “Panasonic is the world leader in its field: for the Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, it is presenting quality and reliable appliances, which have long earned trust and authority among millions of people of our country. Panasonic audiovisual systems will bring the excitement, emotion and atmosphere of the Games to spectators all around the world. Development of our partnership is an important step to ensure that the Games in Sochi will become the most modern and innovative.”

The Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games will take place between 7 and 16 March 2014.
