Panasonic Named as Official Ceremony Partner of Rio 2016 Olympics

Electronics company Panasonic has signed a deal with the Rio 2016 Olympic Organizing Committee to become an “Official Ceremony Partner” of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

As part of the agreement, Panasonic will provide turnkey visual operations for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games Ceremonies.

Panasonic will work closely with the Rio 2016 Ceremonies Department and the production company CC2016 (Ceremony Cariocas).

The company will be in charge of providing a turnkey visual solution, including projector system design, technical consultation, system installation, and onsite operation and maintenance of the visual systems for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

For the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Panasonic will also provide LED Large Screen Display Systems, Professional Sound Systems, Broadcasting Equipment, AV Security Camera Systems and TVs.
