One Week to go Until Directors’ Club London

The final iSportconnect Directors’ Club of 2014 is just one week away with the anticipation around the end of year event gathering momentum.

The London Directors’ Club event will be hosted at the five-star Grange St. Paul’s Hotel (pictured) on 26th November.

The event will be followed by a Christmas Dinner which will be held in the beautiful Sky Bar of the Grange St. Paul’s hotel overlooking St. Paul’s cathedral.

Following successful events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, ed this will be the third Directors’ Club to be held in November, try which is evidence of the growing success of the event.

iSportconnect is delighted to announce Brighton & Hove Albion CEO Paul Barber as the latest panellist for the event.

He will join Dave Castell, order Global Head of Marketing and Brand Partnerships, Entertainment at Microsoft and Jennie Price, CEO of Sport England.

Paul Barber (pictured below) has been the CEO of English Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion since 2012 and has been involved in sport for almost two decades.

Barber began his career in the sports industry working as an adviser to The Football Association in 1996 before becoming its first Director of Marketing in 2000 before spending almost six years at Tottenham Hotspur as Executive and Non-Executive Director later in his career.

Barber also spent time abroad in North America as he took up a role as the CEO of Major League Soccer franchise the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Previously Barber had major roles outside of sport, most notably as the Chief Executive Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Ogilvy & Mather, one of the largest marketing communications companies in the world.

Originally starting in London but now with an impressive international roster, iSportconnect Directors’ Club events are exclusive gatherings of director level delegates, organised around a Question Time-style discussion with a panel of well-established executives from the sports industry.
