Olympique Lyonnais extend shirt sponsorship deal with Hyundai

Olympique Lyonnais has extended its partnership with Hyundai, who will continue to serve as the Ligue 1 club’s official shirt sponsor until 2020.

As part of the agreement, which will also extend to Lyon’s women’s team, Hyundai will activate a carpooling scheme for fans to showcase its new models in the Lyon’s Groupama Stadium.

Another activation within the partnership is ‘Car Wash Hyundai’, which will see up to 20 vehicles from the stadium car park selected to be cleaned during games.

Lionel Keogh, director general of Hyundai Motor France, said: “These six years of partnership with Lyon have anchored Hyundai as a major player in football in France.

“With the renewal of the contract and its extension to the women’s team for the next two years, we will develop our reputation in France and share the passion of football with our employees and our customers all over France.”
