Olympiacos Joins Forces with UNICEF

Greek soccer club Olympiacos will wear the UNICEF logo on their playing shirts after striking a deal with the charity.

The club follows in the footsteps of Barcelona in an effort to promote the charity who work to provide a brighter future for children in need of basic vaccinations.

At the official press conference, pills Olympiacos FC President, for sale Mr. Evangelos Marinakis stated: “This partnership will play a pivotal role in our country. Since, the establishment of the biggest title-winning club in Greece, we have always tried to be on the pitch in order to mobilize global action toward achieving a better future for the children.

“With the help of our club, it is anticipated that the lives of more than 50,000 children will be saved.”

The President of the Hellenic National Committte of UNICEF, Mr Lambros Kanellopoulos added: “The alliance between Olympiacos and UNICEF is a milestone in the humanitarian action of UNICEF Greece, which will bring hope to thousands of children.”

The UNICEF logo will feature on Olympiacos’ shirt in their Champions League tie against Benfica on Wednesday October 23.
