Oldham Athletic Lose Sponsor Due to “Imminent” Evans Signing

Verlin Rainwater Solutions have cancelled their sponsorship of English League One club Oldham Athletic ahead of the club’s “imminent signing” of former Sheffield United striker Ched Evans.

The company no longer wants to be associated with the club who are expected to announce of Evans, who spent two years of a five year sentence in prison having been convicted of rape.
