NHL’s Kris Versteeg to Endorse Fuse Science

October 13, 2013

National Hockey League’s (NHL) player Kris Versteeg of the Florida Panthers has signed an endorsement deal with Fuse Science, Inc., a consumer products and delivery technology company.

As part of the partnership with the Panthers, Powered By Fuse products will be available for sale at the BB&T Center, the Saveology Iceplex and at all participating ice arenas throughout South Florida.

“Most hockey fans know I went down with a tough ACL injury in March 2012 in a tight game against Tampa,” said Kris. “I’ve worked my way back from what could have been a career-ending injury and I can tell you that the EnerJel and ElectroFuse products were an important part of my recovery and how I play the game today. I used EnerJel on my knee during rehab and I continue to use it — it’s a game-changer. ElectroFuse keeps me hydrated and helps reduce cramping. These products are amazing and helped me get through days when I felt like I had nothing left to give. They helped me get back to where I wanted to be today.”

“Kris is a true champion and has done what few can do,” said Brian Tuffin, CEO of Fuse Science. “His injury changed everything and his dedication to getting back on the ice was paramount during his recovery. He is an example of what it means to be Powered By Fuse. I’m glad that he understood the strength of the technology in our products and how they could make a difference,” added Tuffin.
