NFL Name 72andSunny As Creative Agency

U.S. advertising firm, 72andSunny, is the new leading partner and creative agency for the National Football League (NFL).

The deal brings to an end the decade-long relationship the league had with WPP’s Grey.

The move follows a business review in October.

Tim Ellis, the NFL’s new Chief Marketing Officer, commented: “72andSunny has brilliant creative and marketing strategists that possess a deep understanding of our brand and the audiences we are trying to reach.

“An important element they will bring to the NFL is not only how to excite our core audience, but also how to engage and recruit the next generation of football fans and their relationship with our sport.”
