New York Mets names New Balance as official footwear and apparel partner

Major League Baseball (MLB) team New York Mets has announced partnership with apparel company New Balance.
As part of the deal, New Balance will be Mets and Citi Field ballpark’s official footwear and apparel partner.
New Balance will have its logo placed below the venue’s scoreboard. It will further provide kits to the staff at certain events at Citi Field.
Mets chief operating officer Jeff Wilpon said: “We are excited to join with New Balance as we align our brand with one of the most popular athletic brands in the world.
“Like the Mets, New Balance has a very loyal fan base, and we are proud to work with them in a variety of ways that implement marketing and community programs at Citi Field and in the New York region.”
