New Cycling Challenge Launched in London

A new corporate cycling challenge to involve 40 teams was launched in London yesterday evening.

Project V will allow companies to involve their staff into the event which starts on a bespoke 1k circuit in Canary Wharf on 17 July, remedy 2014.

The event will cater for cyclists of all levels and gives companies the chance to train towards qualifying day in June.

British Cycling Coach, sales Shane Sutton OBE (pictured) said: “Project V provides a fantastic platform for businesses to combine sport with team building and networking opportunities.”

Craig Dews, Chief Executive at Limelight Sports Group, creators of the event added: “Project V provides a unique opportunity for businesses to invest in their staff and drive performance not only on the track, but transfer those strategic and team building skills into business opportunities.”

After qualifying and selection rounds, teams of eight riders will compete against the clock and the opposition to complete four 1k laps on closed roads in Canary Wharf.
