NBA’s eSports league NBA2K has announced partnership with US technology companies Intel and Dell.

Intel will become an official technology partner of the NBA 2K League. Intel will also be the presenting partner of the NBA 2K League Studio, where Intel Core and Intel Xeon processors will provide the technology infrastructure for all regular season games, tournaments and playoffs.

Meanwhile, Dell will serve as the league’s official PC hardware and monitor partner. Dell’s gaming partner Alienware will be utilized throughout the NBA 2K League live studio experience during league competitions.

“We selected Alienware as our exclusive hardware provider because we want all NBA 2K League competitions to be played on the best platform,” said Brendan Donohue, Managing Director, NBA 2K League.

“Dell accomplishes that by providing the fastest possible gameplay for our talented players and delivering a second-to-none viewing experience for our passionate fans.”

“Intel plans to provide the best gaming experience for competitors and fans through its cloud to client solutions,” said John Bonini, vice president and general manager of the VR, Gaming and Esports Group at Intel Corporation.

“Intel has been a leader in the growth of the esports industry and community for more than 15 years, and the NBA 2K League’s fresh format will be a great showcase for esports.”
