NBA Signs Local Deal with Phoenix Petroleum Philippines

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has entered into a multi-year marketing partnership with Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., the league announced today.

As the Official Petroleum Partner of the NBA in the Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum will be integrated into NBA media and events in the country, including NBA.com/Philippines and the Jr. NBA presented by Alaska, the league’s youth basketball development program. As part of the partnership, Phoenix Petroleum will also conduct NBA themed promotions in 300 service stations nationwide, giving fans in the provincial areas a chance to win exciting prizes and unique NBA experiences. 

“Phoenix Petroleum has long been an active supporter of sports, and given the massive appeal of the NBA in the country, this partnership is an exciting opportunity for us in our efforts to promote the company’s key initiatives and help develop the youth through sports,” said Phoenix Petroleum Brand Manager Celina Matias.

Headquartered in Davao City, Phoenix Petroleum will serve as an Official Partner of the Jr. NBA presented by Alaska and will support all program events in Davao, including a coaching clinic on Feb. 2, a school clinic on Feb. 3, and the Jr. NBA Regional Selection Camp, March 9-10. All Davao Jr. NBA events will be held at Ateneo de Davao University, and Phoenix Petroleum will provide have an on-site presence and will conduct promotional activities.
