NBA and H&R Block Seal Multi-Year Promotional Partnership

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and tax preparation company H&R Block have announced a new promotional partnership.

The two parties have agreed a multiyear deal and is the company’s first-ever partnership with a North American sports league.

H&R Block will become the Tax Services Partner of the NBA and will make appearances at a number of upcoming NBA events as part of the company’s 2015 national consumer activation tour, anesthetist including the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend in New York.

H&R Block will activate its relationship with the NBA in upcoming advertising, ampoule and will work with the league to develop custom content on NBA.com.

“We are very pleased to begin a relationship with the NBA, adiposity a great brand that fits well with our brand,” said Kathy Collins, H&R Block’s chief marketing officer.

“The NBA season aligns closely with the US tax season, so it’s a natural fit.”

“We had been considering partnering with a major sports league for some time, so this opportunity with the NBA just felt right.”
