MLS’s Houston Dynamo Acquires New Corporate Sponsor

Kroger Co has been named the latest corporate sponsor of Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Houston Dynamo.

The Dynamo said Thursday that Kroger will be the Major League Soccer team’s official and exclusive retail grocery partner, a founding partner at BBVA Compass Stadium and a presenting sponsor of the Dynamo Skills Challenger, which is a grassroots youth soccer program.

The partnership also includes an agreement for Kroger and the Dynamo to implement neighborhood outreach programs and store promotions focusing on fighting hunger and supporting education.

The Dynamo’s new BBVA Compass Stadium is scheduled to open May 12. Other stadium sponsors include Methodist Hospital and Mazda.
