February 21, 2011

Major League Soccer (MLS) and Fox Soccer Friday have announced that they have reached an agreement of a one-year extension for the network’s national broadcast rights agreement.

Under the terms of the deal, ampoule Fox Soccer will broadcast up to 31 regular-season matches as well as three MLS Cup play-off matches, unhealthy including a conference final.

The package includes 15 games on Saturday nights and 14 on Friday nights with 20 of the 31 broadcast windows being exclusive to Fox Soccer, as are all three play-off games.

The network has been a national broadcast partner of MLS since 2003.
