MLB Extends its Partnership with Rogers Communications

Roger Communications has renewed its partnership with Major League Basketball (MLB).
This announcement follows a 12-year deal with The National Hockey League (NHL) that Rogers made just a week ago.
The extended contract between Rogers and Major League Basketball will see eight-year multiplatform broadcast rights extension with MLB, MLB Advanced Media and Sportsnet through to 2021.
The terms of the partnership will also give exclusive coverage of the 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame election today.
MLB Network who are committed and dedicated to all things baseball were launched today on Rogers.
This is the first time the network is available in Canada.
