MLB’s Texas Rangers Agree Deal With Radio Station 105.3 The Fan

Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise the Texas Rangers has agreed a multi-year deal with CBS Radio’s Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) station, arthritis 105.3 The Fan.
As part of the deal the radio station will produce coverage of regular and post-season games along with spring training matches.
The station will also air live pre and post-game shows and daily Rangers-themed programmes.
The Rangers will oversee all the radio production and network aspects of the broadcasts, clinic which will be distributed throughout the state of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
“We are very pleased to enter into this long-term radio agreement with 105.3 The Fan,” said John Blake, the Rangers’ executive vice president for communications.
“The Rangers enjoyed a great relationship with KRLD and CBS Radio from 1995 to 2010, and we look forward to a very productive partnership in the future.”
Brian Purdy, the senior vice president and marketing manager for CBS Radio DFW, said: “We couldn’t be more excited that the Texas Rangers are coming home to 105.3 The Fan.
“The Rangers games and related programming will be a great addition to our powerful line-up of play-by-play broadcasts and local sports talk shows.”
