MLB Names Utz As Official Snack Partner

Utz Quality Foods is the new official snack partner of Major League Baseball.

The deal extends across television, digital media, and retail locations.

The US food company will promote its products across all MLB broadcast and digital platforms, in what is Utz’s first agreement with a professional sports league.

In return, Utz will sell MLB products across their domestic retail outlets, as well as creating baseball-themed packaging to promote the brand.

“We both place a great deal of emphasis on quality, family, and tradition, and look forward to finding ways to bring Utz fans and MLB fans closer together,” said Tom Flocco, Chief Operating Officer of Utz.

“A fully integrated partnership with Utz and its collection of snacks is a perfect match,” added Noah Garden, Executive Vice President, Commerce, at MLB.

Utz already has existing partnerships with the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates.
