Championship football team Middlesbrough FC have announced that they will continue to wear the adidas brand after extending their kit deal with the global sportswear brand.

The announcement comes just two weeks ahead of the launch of Boro’s new kit for the 2013-14 season and continues a partnership that has lasted for four years.

Middlesbrough CEO Neil Bausor said: “We’re delighted to continue our relationship with adidas, a true global brand that is a standard bearer for products of quality, technological innovation, and design.

“Supporters have been incredibly positive about the adidas ranges over the past four seasons and this has helped our partnership with adidas go from strength to strength.

“I am confident the new 2013-14 strip will be a winner with the fans, too”.

Steve Holland, Commercial Clubs Senior Manager at adidas, added: “It’s great to maintain our partnership with Boro. We have an excellent relationship with the club and the fans have really supported the products.
