Mexican Team Chivas Extend Deal with Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile, an award-winning leader in the no-contract wireless industry, is continuing itspartnership with Club Deportivo Guadalajara (CD Guadalajara) of Mexico, the world-renowned soccer team known as Chivas, as the official wireless sponsor of its U.S. tour games.

The partnership was secured by Soccer United Marketing, which serves as CD Guadalajara’s commercial agent in the United States.

As the official wireless sponsor, Boost Mobile will continue to have onsite presence at U.S. tour games and work with CD Guadalajara goalkeeper Luís Ernesto Michel as a Boost Mobile ambassador. The sponsorship will also come to life in Boost Mobile retail stores with Chivas prominently displayed on collateral and merchandising materials.

Throughout the partnership Boost has sponsored “Chivas Zone,” an interactive area with activities, prizes and opportunities for fans to take photos with Chivas players. In addition, brand ambassador Michel and other Chivas players have made appearances at Boost Mobile retails stores. These activities and more will continue in 2012.
