Melbourne Victory Extends Jetts Fitness Sponsorship Deal

August 14, 2014

Reigning Westfield W-League champions Melbourne Victory will continue to have Jetts Fitness as a corporate partner after the brand renewed their partnership with Football Federation Victoria (FFV).

The renewal sees Jetts Fitness retain its position as Victory’s front-of-shirt sponsor, apoplectic while also providing a significant financial investment in the squad and personal support to the players and coaching staff by providing them with free 12-month memberships.

“The decision to renew ties with FFV and the Melbourne Victory W-League squad was a no brainer,” Jetts Fitness Victorian state director Tim O’Shea said.

“Jetts Fitness was delighted to be a major partner during the squad’s incredible success last season, and we’re excited by the direction of the team and FFV and the rapid growth of women’s football in Australia.

“The Victory girls have found the Jetts locations to be convenient and make training a lot easier with their busy schedules. We’re thrilled to be on board for another season.”

As Australia’s favourite fitness chain, Jetts Fitness operates 39 fitness clubs in Victoria and over 200 across Australia and New Zealand.

Acting FFV CEO Matthew Annells commented on the deal: “Jetts Fitness promotes healthy and active lifestyles, and this is beneficial not just for the Melbourne Victory W-League squad but for the Victorian football community in general.”

“We were delighted with the support from Jetts Fitness last season and look forward to another season of our ongoing partnership.”

Melbourne Victory begins its Westfield W-League title defence away to Newcastle Jets on September 13.
