September 30, 2015

iSportconnect, buy cialis the world’s largest global private network of sports business executives, is delighted to announce it will be hosting a special Rugby industry event on 22nd October titled, ‘Developing Rugby Business’, with Michael Goldstein, Vice President of Global Sponsorships at Mastercard and Tom Kingsley, Director of Sport and Sponsorship at EY, confirmed as the first panellists.

The event will take place on the penultimate week of the Rugby World Cup at the 5-Star Grange Hotels in London.

In 2012, Michael Goldstein joined MasterCard Worldwide as Vice President, Global Sponsorships.  He oversees MasterCard’s global golf and rugby platforms, which are highlighted by The Open Championship and Rugby World Cup 2015.  He also focuses on UEFA Champions League activation, global sponsorship strategy, property evaluation and research, and the overall use of sponsorship assets worldwide.

Prior to MasterCard, Michael was with LG Electronics, where he oversaw its NCAA corporate sponsorship across multiple business units, including all Men’s and Women’s Championships. He also managed co-marketing strategic partnerships in the gaming and entertainment space that were leveraged via retail promotions.

Tom Kingsley leads EY’s engagement with the world of sport. He is currently leading the activation of the firm’s official partnership with Rugby World Cup, set to be the second-largest sporting event ever held in the UK.

Last year he also led EY’s sponsorship of the Ryder Cup in 2014, one of the largest sponsorships of team sports ever undertaken by a professional services firm. Tom works across EY’s service lines to provide advice to governing bodies, clubs and leagues, as well as government, commercial and community stakeholders in sport.

This unique rugby event will look at the success of Rugby World Cup 2015, both on and off the pitch, how sponsors contributed to this success and the possible legacy this will leave behind in the UK.

iSportconnect Chairman Michael Cunnah said: “The Rugby World Cup is the biggest sporting event of the year in the UK and is set to break all kinds of records. Therefore we are delighted to be hosting this special event to look on the various successes of the tournament. Michael and Tom are the perfect panellists as they have been involved closely with the tournament and can reflect on the work they have done with World Rugby.”

More details for the event will be announced in the coming weeks, including more panellists and the agenda and topics.

This will be an exclusive, invite-only event.
