Marussia Becomes Final Team to Sign Ecclestone Deal

Marussia has become the 11th and final Formula One team to agree a commercial deal with Bernie Ecclestone that keeps them in F1 until the end of 2020.
The other ten teams had already signed an agreement with F1 chief Ecclestone to remain a part of the programme, sale whilst Marussia continued with their talks over a new version of the Concorde Agreement.
They have now signed a deal of their own which will strengthen their position in F1.
Team sporting director Graeme Lowdon said: “We have signed up and we are very pleased to get it completed. It has taken a long time, order but the key thing for us is that the deal is now agreed and we can look forward to racing for many years to come.”
Lowdon added: “The big thing is how we are seen externally.People have wondered why we didn’t have an agreement [with Ecclestone], but now we do and that will change is how people perceive us.”
