Senior Manager, Player Content and Marketing – NFL

This position will oversee player content development, communications, and marketing efforts across social, digital, and broadcast channels, as well as on-site activations.

Responsibilities

Manage Football Operations/Player Operations Content Strategy through a comprehensive digital universe, with focus on communications/media strategies and player storytelling initiatives.

Marketing Strategies

  • Drive player storytelling and media strategy through NFL O&O platforms and partner assets (NFL Films, NFL Network, NFL Social, etc.)
    • Devise and implement social/digital campaigns designed to communicate key messaging and advocacy priorities
    • Manage analytics reporting process and provide insights, recommendations, and track against KPIs
  • Lead overall NFL Way to Play initiative and award series
    • Coordinate content development, digital communication and promotion, and communication with partners/clubs
    • Manage four in-season Way to Play Awards (NFL, domestic high school, Canada, FLAG)
    • Oversee partner integration (e.g., Gatorade) and international integration (e.g., UK Academy)
  • Oversee the NFL Players Podcast series (concept development, budget management, production, and promotion)
  • Football Operations Content Capture – work across the department to coordinate conceptualization, project management, execution and delivery of content
  • Work closely with both internal and external media partners for potential coverage and promotion of player storytelling and original player content
    • Manage third party relationships, including Hudl, Sailthru, Ascending Athletes and OLP
  • Assist in development of resources for current players and Legends, including Legends Business Network and Player Engagement programs
    • Assist with outbound communications to players, clubs, coaches, etc. (e.g., Legends Community Newsletter)
  • Manage programming and promotions that support athletes (focus on youth and high school) on-field development

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and communications preferred
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience

Position Summary:

Major Responsibility:

Live Content Correspondent – NFL

The Live Content Correspondent is part of the Live Content Correspondent (LCC) program at the NFL that places creative and social media-minded Videographers and Photographers in every NFL market to capture content for NFL stakeholders as needed, 365 days a year.

Summary/Objective

This role requires a candidate who has a passion for football, advanced videography and/or photography skills, editing skills and extensive experience capturing sports/live content.

Each LCC will capture video and/or photo content using their own camera equipment. Content will be shared across the NFL Media ecosystem.

The main responsibilities of the LCC will be to capture high-quality videos and images at NFL and Club games (in-market), events and select activations.

We are hiring LCCs in select NFL markets .

During the season, you will work all home games and may work non-gameday events. Depending on performance and availability, you may have the opportunity to work at NFL and Club events in the off-season.

This is a part-time non exempt position that will report to the NFL Live Content Correspondent team. To work as an LCC you must have a flexible schedule that will allow you to shoot NFL events as needed.

This role will be a critical member of the team that supports the management and execution of League partners’ contractual agreements. Specific duties are essential for this role to manage the day-to-day requirements of League partners and work across the League to support initiatives with the partner.

Social Responsibility Coordinator – NFL

The Social Responsibility Senior Coordinator/Manager will be a part of the Social Responsibility Department. They will be responsible for managing components and projects related to the NFL’s work on a variety of social issues—notably social justice, domestic violence & sexual assault, and work with the LGBTQ community. The position reports to the Vice President of Social Responsibility and will work with the rest of the Social Responsibility team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day communication with NFL’s 30+ social justice grant partners, including collecting quarterly grant summaries. 
  • Serve as point person representing the NFL with the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault field, LGBTQ community, and other social issues that arise. 
  • Coordinate logistics and compile data on social justice initiatives.

The Digital Content Development Manager will work closely with NBA content partners in the development and distribution of content that will drive the subscriber acquisition goals of NBA digital products (DTC). Communications Coordinator – NFL

This position will oversee with direction from the Senior Coordinator, Director, and Chief NFL Spokesman execution of the league’s media monitoring and rapid response operation, providing real-time updates to NFL leadership and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to track, analyze, measure, and disseminate news coverage and social media activity important to the NFL in a timely fashion and digestible format. In addition, the Coordinator will serve as a key member of the league’s News Bureau to assist in building relationships with reporters and secure positive coverage on league initiatives, events, players, executives, and compelling storylines.

Responsibilities

  • Help to oversee the work of two media monitors and provide direction and quality control for daily clips packages. 
  • Be an analytical force in the media monitoring operation and News Bureau, providing key analysis and reports on the volume, tone, and tenor of coverage. 
  • Coordinate internal information-gathering for editorial calendar and proactive communications across the league.

  • Enforcement against unauthorized live streaming and unauthorized use of NBA content on social media and other digital platforms and apps 
  • Drafting and submitting IP infringement notices regarding pirated content to digital platforms, including social media and mobile app platforms 
  • Search engine delisting of links to unauthorized content 
  • Working across the organization and with outside vendors to identify strategic piracy targets for investigation and action 
  • Preparing regular content anti-piracy enforcement and trend reports and presentations 
  • Brand protection enforcement 
  • Coordinating anti-counterfeiting investigations of global e-commerce platforms and sellers 
  • Drafting and submitting IP infringement notices to e-commerce websites and platforms regarding the distribution of counterfeit and unlicensed merchandise and the unauthorized use of NBA trademarks 
  • Tracking and conducting necessary follow-up on takedown requests to ensure compliance 
  • Evaluating and managing third-party technology vendors, investigators and law firms who provide IP enforcement services 
  • Providing advice and support in connection with various other IP enforcement matters (e.g., domain name disputes, ambush marketing) 
  • Liaising with client groups (including Global Media Distribution, Programming and Production, Social Media, Global Partnerships, and NBA member teams) regarding enforcement matters and related strategy 

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • At least five (5) years of experience at a law firm and/or corporate legal department in the field of IP enforcement 
  • Ability to work effectively with others across the organization 
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance 
  • Experience with IP enforcement (content piracy and anti-counterfeiting) on digital platforms 
  • Familiarity with content protection systems and technology, including digital fingerprinting, watermarking, and third-party platform systems (i.e., Facebook Rights Manager, YouTube Content ID)

Position Summary:

The Global Fan Marketing Strategy Lead will develop and activate marketing campaigns that deliver a consistent, seamless, fan-centric experience across all channels and drive business outcomes across markets, including tune-in/ viewership, app downloads, subscriptions, and overall fan engagement! The role is part of an exciting and growing Marketing team with the mission to discover, inspire and engage fans worldwide.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of NBA fans and leverage consumer insights to develop go-to-market strategies to grow fan engagement
  • Orchestrate and implement 360° integrated fan marketing strategy and plans for global campaigns that incorporate multi-channel platforms such as TV, digital, out-of-home, email, social, paid media, and experiential activations

  • Support Fantasy & Gaming marketing efforts (e.g, NBA Pick’Em) to drive fan engagement with key NBA fan segments
  • Develop strategies to engage key growth segments (e.g., youth) to help build the next generation of global NBA fans
  • Partner with the brand and creative team to bring key positioning, messaging, and creative to life in support of global tentpole campaigns
  • Implement the look, feel, and voice of the brand across all fan touchpoints, effectively communicating key value props and differentiators to fans

Director, Premium Suite Sales – Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are looking for a results-oriented director to assist in the strategy and execution of premium suite sales at Chase Center. In this role, you will be charged with increasing revenue through annual and packaged suite sales and build successful business relationships with key partners while crafting new leads through continuous prospecting and networking. Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve successful sales revenue goals including full suite lease sales, and hospitality packages
  • Assist in the planning, development, and activation of selling multi-year premium product offerings
  • Plan and implement all outbound sales efforts, including sales campaigns, sales events, seller & buyer incentives
  • Negotiate and complete all contracts to ensure all deliverables are met
  • Build new prospects by consistently networking and actively making sales calls to new clients

Required Experience and Skills

  • Experience closing new six and seven figure, multi-year deals
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to conduct and lead sales presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce CRM and HVS, a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and resolution skills; Ability to influence C-level clients
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community
  • Flexibility with changing priorities; ability to organize and prioritize workload
  • Available to attend all Warriors home games and special events (i.e. nights, weekends and holidays) to drive business relationships
