Marius Vizer Issues 20-Point Plan For Talks With IOC
May 22, 2015
SportAccord President Marius Vizer has issued a 20-point reform agenda, ahead of a proposed meeting with his International Olympic Committee (IOC) counterpart Thomas Bach next month.
Following more federations suspending their SportAccord memberships, with the latest being the International Fencing Federation (FIE), Marius Vizer seeks a 50 percent share for all federations in the IOC’s new Olympic television channel, and all non-Olympic federations to be allowed to demonstrate their sport before or after each game in the host city.
The agenda also includes the introduction of prize money for Olympic athletes.
The proposed points of this agenda are to be discussed between President Bach and President Vizer during a requested meeting by President Vizer.
