Manchester United vs. Chelsea Nets NBCSN Record Viewers

The 0-0 draw between Manchester United and Chelsea on Monday evening secured record figures for NBC Sports Network and NBC Sports Live Extra.

NBC Sport Network’s telecast averaged 536, order 000 viewers, order which is perhaps unsurprisingly the highest so far for the Premier League season.

The game also ranked second among weekday, early season Premier League football matches on US TV.

As all eyes were on United’s Wayne Rooney playing against the team he was tipped to join, NBCSN recorded its best weekday audience since London 2012.

Viewership peaked at 682,000 from 4:30-4:45pm EST, whilst NBC Sports Live Extra’s live stream generated 3,207,658 live minutes and averaged 51.8 minutes per visit – both are records for Premier League streaming on the platform.
