Game On! City Announce Gaming Partnership With Nexon

Manchester City has announced a partnership with Nexon who will serve as the Club’s official social football gaming partner in South Korea.

The agreement will see Nexon expand in-game ‘FIFA Online 4’ content in collaboration with City and will also provide fan engagement opportunities such as official tours of the Club’s Etihad Stadium.

As part of the deal, the gaming firm will also look to draft an official Manchester City ‘FIFA Online 4’ ambassador from the upcoming ‘FIFA Online 4’ tournaments, providing a unique opportunity for competitive eGamers in Korea.

Jeonghun Lee, the CEO of Nexon, said: “It’s a great honour to work shoulder to shoulder with one of the Premier League’s leading football clubs, and I hope our partnership will diversify both the online and offline football experience for FIFA Online 4 players.”

No details were forthcoming with regards to the length and financial size of the partnership.

Manchester City are on the verge of winning the Premier League title this season, adding to their Carabao Cup success in February.
