Job Description

These are exciting times for England Netball with the Netball World Cup 2019 firmly in our sights.  As hosts for this Liverpool staged event, we are looking for a Managing Director to work alongside the Netball World Cup 2019 Ltd Board to act as the strategic lead, driving forward the NWC 2019 vision and managing the development and delivery of the event ensuring plans are in line with and enhance England Netball’s strategy in all areas.

Reporting to the NWC 2019 Board and England Netball CEO you will monitor progress and ensure that deadlines are met whilst putting in place effective project management throughout the duration of the project.

You will be responsible for the commercial and marketing aspect of the event supporting England Netball with the acquisition of sponsors and in collaboration with stakeholders, plan and implement the operational requirements relating to all functional areas, including sport, marketing/communication, ticketing, PR, broadcast, sponsorship, commercial, legacy and engagement.
