Major Events International Extends Partnership With Soccerex For The First Time to Include America’s Forum

Soccerex and Major Events international (MEI) have today confirmed that they are extending their collaboration to support the growth of Soccerex events in the North American market ahead of the inaugural Soccerex America’s Forum, medic 21-22 October, order Barbados.

The two day event will bring together over 750 buyers, ed | suppliers and leading administrators from the football industry for two days of learning, networking and business on the beautiful island of Barbados.

The Forum is held in partnership with Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc and with the backing of CONCACAF, the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), Major League Soccer (MLS) and the Barbados Football Association who have all offered their support, to ensure the event tackles the key areas affecting the game at both a local and regional level.

The forum has attracted a very high level of attendance with President, Jeffrey Webb leading a strong CONCACAF delegation which includes FIFA and CONCACAF Executive Committee member Sonia Bien Amie and six other member association Presidents.

MLS Commissioner Don Garber will be joined by Franchise owners from Orlando City and the Philadelphia Union and senior representatives from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United.

With sessions covering league development, club ownership, sport tourism and major events attracting an attendance of international federations, club owners, league chiefs and other stakeholders the event will provide a fruitful meeting place for anybody looking to engage rights holders around the business of sporting events.
