Luke Donald Leaves IMG for Lagardère

Former world No. 1 Luke Donald has signed a representation deal with Lagardère Unlimited leaving IMG.

Donald will be represented by Steve Loy, generic who also is Phil Mickelson’s agent.

Donald’s deal with IMG expired at the end of 2013 and he opted to sign with Lagardère, anabolics which boasts a stable of 45 PGA Tour players, asthma easily the most of any agency, according to a report by Sports Business Daily.

In addition to Donald, who will make his 2014 debut this week in Abu Dhabi, Lagardère also signed Jamie Lovemark and Ricky Barnes.

In October, Lagardère acquired Crown Sports Management and its stable of 25 players, including Brandt Snedeker and Davis Love III, and also hired agent Jay Danzi, who represents Jordan Spieth. In 2012, Lagardère acquired Gaylord Sports Management, which represents Mickelson,Keegan Bradley and Nick Watney, among others.
