December 19, 2011

The Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) have revealed that ten companies have bid to become tenants of the Main Press Centre (MPC) and International Broadcast Centre (IBC).

The two giant facilities offer around one million square foot of flexible business space on the Olympic Park in Stratford and will house thousands of the world’s best accredited print and broadcast journalists during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The MPC and IBC are adjacent to the creative district of Hackney Wick and within the newly named East Wick.

The ten competing companies have put forward a variety of bids ranging from the minimum occupation of one floor in either building to the complete take up of each building on long leases.

The shortlist of bidders will be released in the New Year.
