Liverpool Appoint New Marketing Director

Premier League side Liverpool FC have appointed a new marketing director to increase the club’s global development.

The newly-created position has been filled by Markus Bregelec, who formerly held a senior position with electronics company HTC. He led the sponsorship strategy for HTC’s partnership with the Champions League and Europa League.

Bregelec has previously been employed by the likes of Nike, Sony and Adidas.

The Anfield outfit currently sit fifth in the Premier League, 13 points below leaders Chelsea.
