Liverpool Appoint EA Executive as CEO

Liverpool have hired the Electronic Arts Chief Operating Officer as their new CEO.

Peter Moore will oversee all business operations of the Premier League club, and will report directly to club owners Fenway Group.

He has spent a decade with Electronic Arts, where he recently oversaw successful first steps into the Esports arena.

Moore was born in Liverpool, and has held a passion for the Anfield outfit since childhood.

He will join the club in June, remaining in his current role for the immediate future.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson said in a blog post, ”if you’ve ever met Peter Moore, you know that he quite literally wears his passion for Liverpool FC on his sleeve. So it’s with great excitement that we congratulate Peter on following his dream to become the next CEO of his beloved Liverpool Football Club.”
